Readings and Solo Performances
“fascinating and provocative”
– The Seattle Times
Using simple props and minimal stage set, Gigi’s solo performances explore the human psyche: its loves, obsessions, and imaginings. In her stories, both edgy and comic, she pokes at the bulges under the rug. What’s hiding there? What was she – or someone else – trying to bury?
She asks big questions and then furiously digs though science, psychology, the bible, pop culture and self-help books in a relentless search for answers. Sometimes she uses puppets to embody different characters, other times she plays all the parts.
